Peacefully, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at age 58. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Companion). Loving father of Shane (Jennifer), Troy (Doris), Jessica (Rob), and stepfather of Denitka (Andrew), and Crystal (Derick). Loved poppy of Natalya, Emily, Javaid, Ethan, Alexandria, Travis, Nash, Jensen, Jameson, Anaia, and Austin. Dear brother of Mickey, Duncan, Dennis (predeceased), Mamie, Bobbie, Anne, Stevie (predeceased), Jake (predeceased), Margie, Denise, and Madeliene (predeceased). Will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews, extended family, and his many friends from Zellers Distribution Warehouse, KTP, and STC. The family of Maurice Barry will receive friends at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa(south side of Taunton Road east of Thornton Road)905-440-3595 on Saturday, August 23rd from 2-3pm. A service to celebrate Maurice’s life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel at 3pm. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Lakeridge Health Foundation “Cancer Centre”.
