McCORMACK; Lincoln Weir Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle on October 28, 2014 at Lakeridge Health- Bowmanville. Loving husband of Joan for 38 years. Devoted father of Tasia, Tony(Sandra), Kathy, Nancy, Vanness, Garth, Gary and Denese. Cherished grandpa of Mark, Taylor, Domenic, Angelina, Carter and Isabella. Lincoln was the a dear brother to Fitz Albert(Violet), Andrea(aka Dottie), Hibbert(Laura), Wilson(deceased), Walter(Peggy), William, Alice, Warren(deceased), Wilhel(deceased), Mable, Enid and Lou(deceased). Lincoln will be fondly remembered by Carmen, Angela, his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Lincoln had a passion for automotive and was creative and innovative and found a way to build and fix everything. He loved music and was always singing and playing the guitar and piano. Family and friends meant the world to him and he found happiness in helping others. He loved his trips and time spent in Newfoundland, and cherished the moments spent with Joan. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa(south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road)905-440-3595 on Sunday, November 2nd from 1:00pm-4:00pm. A Service to Celebrate Lincoln’s life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel at 4:00pm.Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
