Obituary of Lyle Nelson

Passed away peacefully at his home on June 28, 2013 at the age of 72. Lyle is survived by his wife of 37 years Connie (nee Chatten). Sadly missed by his sons Allan (Korina) and Michael (Martina). Loving grandfather of Taylor Schomberg. Predeceased by his parents Merle and Maggie (nee Poole) of Warkworth ON. Brother to Glen, Hazel Lawson, Robert and Sharon Pettey. Lyle was active in many sports including baseball, racquetball and golf with the WAGs and Wednesday Warriors. Special thanks to home care nurse Sue Dalton and Lakeridge Health PD nurses Heather Bouckley and Kathy Baynham for their compassion and advice. Words cannot express our appreciation for sister-in-law Rose Eames for dropping everything and coming to help. Also thanks to the Amigos, particularly Lynda Supryka and Karen Graveline for their support and to Marion Rosamond for being an amazing neighbour. Celebration of Life to be held at Kedron Dells Golf Course Clubhouse, 2400 Ritson Rd N., Oshawa on Thursday, July 4, 2013 from 5 to 8 PM.
