WOOD: Michael (Mike)
Passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle, on September 2, 2016 at the age of 56 years. Beloved husband of Janet. Loving son of Ian, and the late Margaret. Loving brother of Audrey, and Ian (Lydia). Remembered by his children Charlie (Ann) and Amy ( Joey). Cherished grandfather of Shea, Tyler, Kaiden, Conrad, Travis and Jordan. Mike will be missed by his nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues. Visitation will be held at DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa(south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Friday, September 9th from 1:00-2:00pm. A service to celebrate Mike’s life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel at 2:00pm. In memory of Mike, donations may be made to The Lakeridge Health Cancer Centre.
