Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle on February 6, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Patti (2003). Loving father of Amy, Tim, Julie and Ben. Cherished Papa of Hailey and Abigail. Loving brother of Judy, Hugh(Jan) and Paul. Dear uncle of Rob(Deb) & Dylan and great uncle of Olivia & Adeline. A private family service will be held separately. A Remembrance Gathering will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Monday February 13th from 4:00-8:00pm. In memory of Gordon, donations may be made to the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research-Sunnybrook Foundation. Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
