SMOJVER, Ana

Passed away peacefully at Sunnycrest Nursing Home on July 30, 2017.  Beloved wife of the late Ivan.  Loving mother of Dunja (Aldo) Barba and Cvjetana (Marko) Prgin.  Cherished Nona of Nenad (Sandy), Neven (Lisa), Mate (Tracey) & Luka and great Nona of Taylor, Morgan, Aldo, Marcus & Anna. Ana will be fondly remembered by her family and friends here and in Croatia.  The family wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff at Sunnycrest Nursing Home for their tender loving care of mom.  Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Thursday, August 3rd from 1:00-3:00pm.  A funeral service will be held in the DeStefano Chapel at 3:00pm.  As per Ana’s wishes, cremation will take place and she will return home to Croatia to be buried with her husband Ivan.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sunnycrest Nursing Home or to a charity of your choice.  Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
