Stephanie Ferraro - Administration & Family Care

Stephanie has lived in the Durham Region for over 10 years with her family. She graduated from Monsignor Paul Dwyer CHS in 2013. Come this September, she will be attending the Randolph Academy for The Performing Arts in Toronto.

When she is not working or performing, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and singing, of course!

She loves working here at DeStefano!

Joy Ball - Family Care

Joy and her husband Charlie have lived in the Durham area for over 11 years and have enjoyed meeting new people and exploring all that Durham has to offer.  She is the mother of three children; Daniel, Rachel and Sarah, and is part of a very large extended family.  Joy is involved with and is a member of the church family at The Salvation Army Oshawa Temple.  Joy enjoys cooking, reading, gardening and movies.

Arnold Bell - Family Care

Arnold is a retired GM employee.  He grew up in Oshawa and has raised his family here.  He is married to Lisa, and they are the proud parents of Taylor and Connor.  As a family, they love to vacation in Myrtle Beach, S.C..  Arnold enjoys all sports, golf and tennis being his favourites.  He has a passion for the culinary arts, and in his spare time loves to cook and barbecue for family and friends.

Arnold is enjoying his new career working at the DeStefano Funeral Home.

Susan Carkner - Administration & Family Care

Sue grew up in Toronto, however has lived in Whitby for the past 26 years where she and her husband Ross have raised their family.  Seeking to be a part of a team that serves families in their greatest time of need, Sue joined the DeStefano Family in December 2012.

Outside of work, Sue enjoys spending time with family and friends, she is actively involved in her church, enjoys various activities, one of which is scrapbooking.

Lori Hewson - Family Care

Lori has lived in Oshawa for over twenty years.  She is the proud mother of three and grandmother of two.  Lori works with elderly people which she enjoys.  When she is not at work, Lori enjoys  to spend her time with her family and loves to garden, walk and travel.

Branden Winters - Family Care & Host

Branden is a graduate of the Pre Service Fire and the Fire and Life Safety programs at Durham College.  He aspires to be a full time employee of the Fire Department.

Branden is the ambassador for Camp BUCKO, which is a camp for burn survivors all across Ontario. 

When not working, Branden enjoys playing hockey, continuing his education and spending time with family and friends.
