Robert was a well-known and loved figure in Durham Catholic District School Board, teaching French for 30 years and supply teaching for 18 years after retirement. He served as French Consultant and on many curriculum committees. Robert loved to coach sports and to instruct kids in his native language. He was a proud member of OECTA serving on the executive, many committees, and negotiating teams. He also volunteered many hours with the Durham Local Training Board.

His sense of humour, joie de vivre, and great wisdom will be truly missed. We love you Robert!
