Obituary of Robert Piecyk

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Piecyk announces his passing on January 11th, 2023, surrounded by loved ones after a brief battle with brain cancer.

Beloved partner and soulmate of Lucia, proud and loving father of Sylvia and Sophia, cherished son of Miroslawa and Jozef, dear brother of Agnes (Wojtek) and Margaret (Marcin), caring uncle of Anya, Sebastian, Julia, Annika, Abby and Lucas. Robert will be lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, family and those that had the pleasure of knowing him.

Robert dedicated his life to those that he loved. His smile was contagious, and his friendly personality left an impression on everyone who entered his life. The world was a better and more interesting place with him in it.

Visitation will be held at DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa on Saturday, January 21st from 12:00-1:45pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place following the visitation at St. Hedwig Parish, 411 Olive Avenue, Oshawa at 2:30pm.
