Obituary of Deanna Lynn Puhach

Deanna Lynn Puhach, passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday January 30, 2023 at the age of 58.

Cherished mom of Breanna Puhach (Justin) and Joshua Puhach (Leigha).  Proud grandma of Evelynn.  Daughter of Joan and the late Walter Puhach.  Dear sister of Laurie Puhach-Gaudette and her husband Phillip. Loving aunt of Madison Gaudette.

Predeceased by her grandparents Michael and Klaudia Puhach and James and Elizabeth Armstrong. Beloved lifelong friend of Barb, Chris and Kerry.

Will be missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins and all her friends.

While growing up, Deanna played second base in baseball, twirled, led and taught baton for the North Oshawa Nationals and was an enthusatic head cheerleader during high school. She also loved camping and spending time at the Sorenson's cottage. 

Deanna graduated from Trent University with a BA in English and Sociology, as well as a graduate diploma in Human Resources from Seneca College. She went on to be a Caseworker where she found joy in helping many people.  She had optimism, strength and a light that was evident to those who loved and knew her.

Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa (905) 440 3595 on Saturday Febuary 4th from 11:00am to 12:30pm.  A Service to celebrate Deanna will be held at 12:30pm. If desired, memorial donations to Princess Margaret Hospital would be appreciated.
