Obituary of Gloria Jean Elliott

Gloria Jean Elliott (June 1, 1946 - February 20, 2017) A kind, generous and loving woman who loved unconditionally has gone to be with her Heavenly Father. A loving and dedicated wife to the late Murray Elliott (James & Kelly). Mother to Lisa (Paul), Jennifer (Andrew) and Andrea (Charles). Loving grandmother to Jacob, Danielle, Nicholas, Jessica, Anthony and Lucas. Gloria adored her great granddaughter Nicole. She leaves behind her sister Patsy and many nieces and nephews. She spent many years loving and supporting her community. Gloria was an avid fan of the Cobourg Cougars and billeted team members for many years. She traveled throughout Ireland, Mexico, Romania and India on many missionary trips. She supported Teen Challenge, Beginnings and Greenwood Coalition, just to name a few. She was a wonderful friend and member at Fellowship Baptist Church in Cobourg. She retired from General Motors after 33 years of service. Services to celebrate her wonderful life will be held on Friday February 24th. Visitation will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church, 469 Elgin Street West, Cobourg, ON K9A 4T6 from12:00-2:00pm with service to follow at 2:00pm. Charitable donations may be made to Greenwood Coalition of Port Hope as per Gloria’s request. Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
