ALEXANDRE, Maria Amelia
Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. Devoted wife of Avelino for 53 years. Loving mother of James (Helen) and Andy (Sharon). Cherished Avo to Elain (Rick), James & Amanda and Bisavo of Gavin, Amelia & Jocelyn. Dear sister of Fernanda (Luis) DaSilva and John (Manuela) Oliveira of Portugal. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Tuesday, May 23rd from 5:00-7:00pm. In memory of Maria, donations may be made to Lakeridge Health Cancer Centre. Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
