Obituary of Javier "Frank" Velasco

Velasco, Javier “Frank” (30 Year Member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police)

Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, July 22nd 2017 at the age of 58.

Beloved husband of Hedda Alberta.  Loving Father of Matthew Ricardo and Christina Louisa.  Cherished brother of José Carlos and his wife Lucia Morelli, and Alejandro Juan and his wife Diane. Uncle and Godfather to Juan Sebastian and Stefanie Jordana.  Devoted son of the late José and Rosario.   Frank will be lovingly remembered by his friends, family, and brothers and sisters in the law enforcement community.

Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Thursday, July 27th from 2:00-4:00pm & 7:00-9:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Parish on Friday, July 28th at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
