Dear Teresa and family. Our condolences to you all. We have many fond memories of John as a friend, colleague and fellow sailor. Johan remembers well the time he sail across Lake Ontario with John. John accepted me as family, and a cup of tea or coffee was always on offer the moment I arrived from one of my jaunts and came back to the neighbourhood. I will ever cherish our laughter, wry humour, and our discussions around theology and world events. His warm and generous heart will be sorely missed.
