Obituary of Rita Lazakis

Lazakis: Eleftheria (Liberty) “Rita”

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday July 24th, 2019 at the age of 77 years.  She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Kathy (Jason), and son Stefanos (Pamela), Loving Yiayia of George, Sofia, Maximiliano, Madeline, and Ben.   Rita will be lovingly remembered by her sister Kiki, family, friends, and those that had the pleasure of knowing her.  Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Sunday, July 28th from 12:00-1:00 pm.  A Service to Celebrate Rita’s life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel at 1:00 pm.  In memory of Rita, donations may be made to Nova’s Ark.
