Obituary of Jesse James Thornton

Passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 30, 2020 at the age of 31 years.  Loving son of Missy (Gary) Harris and Jordy (Julie) Thornton.  Cherished brother of Daniel, Jake and Allyssa.  Beloved grandson of Betty-Lou, Bev & Ron Smith, nanny Helen Thornton, grandma Marg (the late Paul), and Mary Ann & Champ.  Jesse will be lovingly remembered by his niece, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.

Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 1:00-3:00pm.  Due to current restrictions, a visitation appointment must be booked with the family in order to attend, please contact the family directly.  Tributes are welcome and may be shared during visitation.

In memory of Jesse, donations may be made to the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Oshawa, Simcoe Hall Settlement House or Nova’s Ark.
