Please share a memory of Jacob to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

KRABBENDAM, Jacob (Jack) Adolf

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Hospital Bowmanville on Saturday March 13, 2021 in his 89th year. Jack was the beloved husband of Norma (nee Mathieu) and very devoted father of Cathy Lynch and her husband Micheal. Jacob loved his grandchildren Graeme and Nicole Lynch and cherished every moment with them.

Jack enjoyed reminiscing and sharing stories of his time in the Holland military and his relocation to Canada. He was an avid traveler and a very devoted sports fan especially to soccer.  Jack was sometimes not sure who to cheer for whenever Hockey Night in Canada televised the game between Montreal and Toronto having lived in and loved both cities. He enjoyed his hobby of stained glass and an evening was not complete without his glass of Canadian Whiskey and a card game with his loving wife, Norma.

Jack is currently resting at De Stefano Funeral Home in Oshawa (905) 440 3595. There will be no viewing but a private prayer service with the family on Friday March 19, 2021. It will be followed by his internment at The Resurrection Cemetery, 355 Taunton Ave, Whitby, Ontario.

Jack will always be remembered and missed by his family and friends.

"We have loved him in Life. Let us not forget him in death." St. Ambrose
