Obituary of Mario John Bombino

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mario Bombino, born 1947 in Grimaldi, Cosenza, Italy.  Predeceased by mother Emilia (Giardullo) Bombino and Joseph Bombino.  He is survived by his daughters Stephanie (Kevin) Saunders, Jana (Paul) Beeke, brothers Mike (Jackie) Bombino, Stan (Cathy) Bombino, John (Lyndsay) Bombino, sister Pierina (Giovanni) Vivaqua.  Dearest Papa of grandchildren Keenan, Mia, Ayden, Laine and Brennan.  He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Often referred to as "Coach Mario", he was actively involved in many soccer communities and will be missed by all the friends and players he has influenced along the way. 

His coaching extended beyond the field, with a gift to see everyone as an equal and a friend.

Loved by many, missed by all.  May he rest in peace.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00pm, with times for registration as follows:

2:00pm-2:45pm

3:00-3:45pm

6:00-6:45pm

7:00-8:00pm

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 1:00pm. 

A private family interment will be held.
