Obituary of Marie Ferguson

FERGUSON, Marie Elizabeth

Passed away peacefully on July 2, 2021.  Loving and devoted Mother of Sarah Ferguson (Brian Tidd).  Cherished Grandma of Ava and Aiden Tidd.  Beloved sister of John (Diane) Ferguson and Bruce (Julie) Ferguson.  Dear Aunt of Blair Ferguson, Melissa Ferguson, Grant Ferguson, Dean Ferguson and Craig Ferguson.  Marie loved all animals, especially dogs.  She loved gardening, swimming, boating and enjoyed the lake at her cottage.  Family was important to her and she loved being with her grandchildren and watching them play and have fun.

Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) on Thursday July 8, 2021 from 2:00-3:00pm.  Due to current restrictions, you must register with the family to attend at sarahmallanyferguson@hotmail.com.  A Service to celebrate Marie’s life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel at 3:00pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Peterborough Humane Society would be appreciated.
