Obituary of Rev. Richard Stanley Bombay

Passed away suddenly on July 26, 2021 of a heart attack.  Loving and devoted husband of Wendy for 46 years.  Supportive father of Rebecca (Mark) Blaine, Rev. Matthew (Taigan) and Rachel (Benjamin) Wright.  Cherished Poppa of Georgia, Madeline, Jonah, Bennett, Eli, Austen and Vale.  Dear brother of Rev. Calvin (Mary), Rev. Kenneth (Joan), Ruth (the late Calvin) Ratz, Lois (Fred) Mott and the late David (Winona). 

“The Dickard” will be remembered for his sense of humour, the way he loved people and his genuine authenticity. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 3rd from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Trinity Pentecostal Church, 900 King Street East, Oshawa.  A Service to Celebrate his life will follow at 1:00pm. 

Please do not dress up, wear what you are comfortable in; Hawaiian shirts and Crocs are encouraged. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to South Point Church (etransfer to payments@southpointchurch.ca).
