With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden, but peaceful passing of Tony Berti at Winter Haven Hospital, Florida, at the age of 58. Loving husband of 36 years to Linda (nee Allingham). Devoted father of Karen (Dan Ricciuto), Chris (Cindy), Heather, and Adam (Katie). Loved grandpa of Ella, Luca, Jack, and Lily. Beloved son of the late Luigi and Luigia Berti. Dear brother of the late Gino (Mary). Cherished son-in-law of Elizabeth Allingham and the late John. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews, both here and in Florida, as well as many other extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road) on Sunday, March 30th from 2-4 & 6-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 31st at 11:00am at St. Mary of the People Catholic Church, 570 Marion Avenue, Oshawa. In memory of Anthony, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca.
