Obituary of Sybil May Carter

Sybil May Carter age 89 of Oshawa passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on September 27, 2021. Sybil was born in Lucea, Jamaica on February 1, 1932. 

Sybil completed her nursing designation and spent 18 years at Dudley Road Hospital Birmingham, England and retired after 8 years of service at Dr. J.O. Ruddy General Hospital, Whitby (Lakeridge Whitby). 

Sybil is survived by Humphrey Reid, Luther (Tony) Reid, Alexander (Zandy) Reid, Carter Reid, Austin Reid, Alexander (Zandy Jr.), Alyssa Lopez, Dr. Skylar Neblett, and was predeceased by son Paul Reid. 

Memorial services will be held at De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa, ON L1J 0C7 on October 2, 2021, at 12:00 PM.

Memorial donations may be made in Sybil's name to the Alzheimer Society Durham Region.
