Following a lengthy battle with complication due to Alzheimer, Mrs. Colette Henriette (Lagace) Stinson has passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving husband on the evening of January 4th, 2022, in Uxbridge, Ontario at the age of 71 years.

She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 31 years, Steve Stinson; children: Denis (Sonia) Pitre, Wayne (Khanh) Pitre; stepdaughter: Cynthia (Adam) McKay; grandchildren: Jessica, Alisa, Elise, Alex and Marcus; step-grandchildren: Emily and Sarah,

She is survived by her brothers: Lionel (late Mary Lou) Lagace and Ronald Lagace; her sisters: Geraldine (Eddie) Comeau, Jeannette (late John) Surette, Lina (Raymond) Babin, Murielle (Alexandre) Chamberlain, and Lorraine (Cyril Berube) Babin.

She was predeceased by her late brother, Roger (Louise) Lagace.

She will, also, be dearly missed and remembered by the father of her children, Roger Pitre, her nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Alphe Lagace and Isabelle Thibeault.

Colette lived life to the fullest. She was a woman with a kind heart; always willing to help her family and friends. She enjoyed music, dancing, playing cards, spending time at her trailer. She loved playing her harmonica, watching The Price Is Right, playing Bingo, listening and grooving to Elvis and different kind music.  Her motto in life was “Don’t sweat the small stuff”.
