Feb 16, 1935 – January 31, 2022

Peacefully surrounded by his family at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Monday January 31st 2022 at the age of 86. Beloved Husband of Joanna. Loving Father of Danuta (Jarosław), and Andrew (Isabel).  Cherished Grandfather of Thomas and Matthew (Anna). Proud Great Grandfather of Alexa, Paul, Maks, Maya, and Christian.  Dear Brother of Andrzej and Wasyl.

Szymon will be remembered as a hardworking, caring, and loving family man, with friends and family in Canada, Poland, Italy,  Australia and the United States.

Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa (905) 440 3595 on Friday February 4th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Rosary will be said at 8:30pm. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday February 5th 11:00am at St. Hedwigs Polish Catholic Church in Oshawa. Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Whitby.
