Obituary of Tracy Lynn Hurst

Please share a memory of Tracy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

In “Tracy style”, she passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on February 12, 2022.  Loving wife & best friend of Jim Irich.  Cherished & devoted mother, and world’s best cheer section of Makayla.  Beloved daughter of Debra and Frank. Beloved sister of Nicole. Dear niece of Pat. Tracy was a force! She loved fiercely, and was so passionate about empowering and standing up for those she loved.  Her strength was immeasurable, she faced every hurdle with a smile and unbeatable attitude. She was in her happy place at the cottage, there was always so much happiness at the lake. Many sunny afternoons and summer evenings were spent listening to music with friends who were family, laughing and enjoying a glass (or many) of wine.  Tracy’s love for music and dancing has always been contagious. She loved horses, and had been riding since a young age.  It was a love and passion that she shared with Mak, they spent countless hours enjoying the horses and riding alongside each other. She will forever live in the hearts of her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (South side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595.
