BROUGHTON, Charles James “Jim” (Owner of Broughton Towing and Broughton Auto & Truck Repair)

Passed away peacefully comforted by the love of his family on Saturday, February 26, 2022.  Beloved husband of the late Lois.  Loving father of Dave (Stephanie), Sharon (late Herman), Scott (Tammy) and the late Bob.  Cherished grandfather of Beverly (Cory), Jeffrey (Cindy), Blair (Sam), Karlie, Sarah, Dan (Carlie), Lindsay (Ryan), Mike and Laura; great grandfather of 12 and great great grandfather of 2.  Jim will be lovingly remembered by numerous family and friends. 

Visitation will be held at the De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Tuesday, March 1st from 5:00-8:00pm and on Wednesday, March 2nd from 10:00-11:00am.  A Service to Celebrate Jim’s life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel on Wednesday, March 2nd at 11:00am.  Jim will be laid to rest with his beloved Lois. 

In memory of Jim, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
