Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville with his family by his side on Thursday December 15, 2016 at the age of 74. Cherished husband of the late Hazel Sawa. Proud father of Kyle & Rena Walters, Scott & Marie Sawa, Shane & Erin Sawa and Rob & Shannon Fearon. Survived by his siblings Desmond Sawa and Julie Crossan (Gerry Crossan) of London, ON.Cherished Grandfather/DziaDzio/JuJu of Lawson, Taylor, Hadleigh, Harper, Hollis, Olivia and Tyler. A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Al's life will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the DeStefano Funeral Home "Aviation Lounge", 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa, ON (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595.
