DROPKA, Lajos “Louis” (retired 25 year employee of General Motors Canada)
Passed away peacefully on March 19, 2017 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Eva (2011). Dear father of Zita and her husband George and Louis Jr. and his wife Kathleen. Cherished grandfather of Alexandra (Nick), Thomas (Jenna), Lewis, Austin and Quincy. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Friday, March 24th from 2:00-4:00pm & 7:00-9:00pm and on Saturday, March 25th from 12:00-1:30pm. A funeral service will be held in the DeStefano Chapel on Saturday, March 25th at 1:30pm. Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby. In memory of Louis, donations may be made to After Breast Cancer, helping survivors celebrate life. Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
