I know it's a bit late but I just found out today about Jake's passing. I just want to wish his family my condolences. Jake and I were both members as well as platoon leaders of the 7th Pickering Scout group. May he rest in peace-
Love Robert Carinci.
There was never a dull moment when you were around Jake! Honestly, bowling with you was probably the most fun I ever had when bowling! I'm really going to miss seeing you at Bowling School, at NEBs for Youth Challenge and honestly at almost every other tournament I was in :)! Not to mention, you were an amazing friend, basically like a distant brother to me! When the world lost you, heaven gained an angel. Can't wait to see you again someday. Love you Jake.
May God bless you all. We are so saddened to hear of Jakes passing. May he be with you always. May you hear his laughter in yours, his song when you sing, his touch when you feel and his love when you close your eyes. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all may Jake be at peace
Dear Gary and Pearl, our deepest condolences and our hearts go out to you during this very saddened time. Jake was a beautiful soul and he touched the lives of everyone in our family. We hold very fond memories over the years in Scouting and we have some beautiful pictures and video clips of Jake at Scout camps/events that we would like to share with you and your family.

Gary, Pearl & Family, Our deepest condolences on the passing of Jake. He touched many of our members hearts. Everyone has their own special memories of Jake from over the years – be it from when he was a ‘bat boy’ for the older boys, umpiring, playing, mentoring or training. All summer long he could be found near a baseball diamond – a true member of our baseball family.
Jake will be missed behind the plate, at the plate and in front of the plate.
We will miss him.
I remember when Jake used to go to Altona, he was always so nice and he would come and help out in my class sometimes. Some of the best times were baseball with Jake. Rest Easy Jake, thanks for everything ❤.
From all of us in the Harris family and those in the past and present 7th Pickering Scout family, we would like to extend our sincere condolences at this time of loss. Please let us know if we can do anything at all.
