Obituary of John Conforti

Conforti : John

June 25, 1947 – July 18, 2022

 

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John Conforti at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with his family by his side.   Loving husband of Antonietta (Joanne) Conforti of 51 years. Loving and supportive father of Maria Schembri (Jason), Diana Winters (Russ), Elena Conforti, and David Conforti (Alexis).  Adored Papa to nine grandchildren Andrew, Sarah, Madelin, Gabby, Julia, Jason, Benjamin, Brady and Jonny. Loving son of Maria and the late Nunziato Conforti. Survived by his siblings Frank, Lena, and Anita.   John was a gracious and loving man who lived his life for his wife Joanne, children, and grandchildren.  We love you so much Papa. Thank you for teaching us the important things in life.

Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home. 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa (905) 440 3595 on Friday July 22^nd from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm.   A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday July 23^rd, 2022, at 11:00am.  Entombment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Whitby.   If desired, memorial donations to the Durham Cancer Centre at Lakeridge Health Oshawa would be appreciated.
