Our condolences to all of Johns family. We enjoyed all the time we were with both John and Carol in Florida. Liked watching John's baseball games and occasionally he played shuffleboard. Euchre was his game as he and Carol set it up in Florida.

Our sincere condolences to Carol and family. We were so sad when receiving news of John's death, after such a tough struggle for over 4 months since getting covid. We have shared so many wonderful social events over the years at Doug and Pat's, on the Caribbean Cruise, and at Lakeshore,in Florida. John was always the life of the party and we loved his fun-loving spirit and great sense of humour. He certainly lived life to its fullest! May he RIP. You will be greatly missed by so many. Our extended family has fond memories for John . He was the perfect cohost when we visited the Stoko Lake cottage which he and Carol co-owned for many years with our brother Douglas and Patricia Burnside. We formed lasting friendships when visiting the Devitts in Florida over many years. John was always active in SLO Pitch on those lovely winter visits. To lose such a vibrant loved one must be very shocking and painful for Carol and their sons. Our family joins us in sending our deepest regrets. Sincerely
