Obituary of Bruna Grogan

Please share a memory of Bruna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Peacefully and in her daughter’s loving embrace at Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry. Survived by her heart broken husband John, devoted daughter Erika, beloved son-in-law Jeff, best-friend and grandson Braeden, loving siblings Liviana (Robert), Mario (Margaret) and Joe (Shirley) nieces and nephews. Fondly known as Big Zia to her great nieces and great nephews. A successful Realtor in Peel Region, she alongside her husband John, were the dynamic duo that helped shape the Caledon and Bolton area over their 40-year career. A devoted caregiver to our little family, she did it all from Braeden’s lunches to dusting the chandelier. A homemaker in every sense of the word. Her fierce flame has gone out here on Earth, but her spirit will be felt in every Elvis song, lasagna making endeavour, Winners shopping trip and bingo dab. We will miss her dearly.

If you’d like to join us in celebrating Bruna, the arrangements are as follows: DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa.(905) 440 3595. Public Visitation Thursday, November 2nd from 5pm-8pm. Service at 1pm on Friday, November 3rd, followed by the interment at Thornton Cemetery at 1200 Thornton Rd North, Oshawa.

She loved flowers. They are welcome.

If you are called to make a donation in her name, please consider the Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry. Their compassion in aiding with end of life cannot be adequately described, nor can my appreciation for how they treated us at this difficult time.
