Obituary of Jozef Piecyk

We cherish the memory of Jozef Piecyk, whose grace, sensitivity, and kindness radiated boundless compassion, tenderness, and unwavering care. Jozef passed away peacefully, surrounded by his beloved family, on March 18, 2024.

Jozef was a devoted husband of 57 years to Miroslawa, a pillar of strength and unconditional love. To Gosia, Agnieszka, and Robert, he was a loving father who instilled in them invaluable family values. Marcin, Wojtek, and Lucia equally treasured him as a father-in-law. To Anya, Julia, Sebastian, Annika, Sophia, and Sylvia, he was a cherished grandfather whose love knew no bounds.

Jozef symbolized goodness and kindness in its purest form. His gentle demeanour, humility, and inner radiance shone brightly for all to see. Welcoming and approachable, he graced others with his presence, enriching the lives of all fortunate enough to know him.

Visitation will be held at DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa, on Friday, March 22, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, March 23 at St. Hedwig Parish, 411 Olive Avenue, Oshawa, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Whitby.
