ROSE, Robert James — At his residence, surrounded by his family January 11, 2016 in his 72nd year. Beloved wife of Jennifer Ann (nee Shepherd) for over 50 years. Dear father of Richard & his wife Lisa and Steve & his wife Carolyn. Loving Grandad of Emma, Talisa, Kyle, Ethan & Alex. Brother of Margaret Hudson and Helen Clarke & her husband Maurice. Special thanks to the doctors, nursing staff, CCAC and VON nurses for their compassion and kind care over the past few months Following Robert’s wishes, a memorial reception will be held 1:00pm - 4:00pm Sunday January 24, 2016 at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway in England, would be appreciated.
