KISLASHKO, George Harvey (Retired EMS Superintendant) Passed away peacefully at home lovingly in the arms of his family at 2:30am on March 8, 2016. Devoted husband of Diane for over 34 years. Beloved father of Jennifer(Travis) and Shelley(Daniel). Cherished Grampa of Sienna and Everly. Loving brother of Diana(Dave) and Georgia(Jay). George will be lovingly remembered by his nephew Trevor(Dana) and their son Oliver, along with his family, friends and by his EMS brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa(south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Sunday, March 13th from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-9:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 1148 Finch Ave., Pickering on Monday, March 14th at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery. Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca Sorry you did not get a new heart, but yours is so special I guess God wanted you to keep it.
