Peacefully, on Sunday, September 15, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loved ones, after a short battle with cancer, at age 67. Ron, of Oshawa, beloved husband of Dawn (nee Farmer), and the late Lynda. Loving father of Dawn Della Valle (Dave), and stepfather of Sheryle Blasko, Amanda Coughlin (Tyson), and Michael Strutt (Lauren). Cherished grandpa of Michael and Matthew Della Valle, Dakota, Kennedy, and Harmony Blasko, Taya and Mikayla Coughlin, and Novah Strutt. Dear brother of Lynne Olsen. Loved son-in-law of Ellen Farmer. Ron will also be missed by his many friends and extended family whose lives he touched. The family of Ron Wilson will receive friends at the DeStefano Funeral Home,1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa, ON (south side of Taunton Road, just east of Thornton Road) 905-440-3595, on Wednesday, September 18th from 1-2 p.m. A service to celebrate Ron's life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel at 2 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
