It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our dearly loved Cheryl, on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the young age of 42. Cheryl (nee Maharaj) of Ajax, loved wife of Michael Moosaie. Loving mother of Andrew, Alex, and Brianna. Cherished daughter of Angela and step-daughter of Terry. Dear sister of Angie, Kevin, Shaldon, and Krystle. Beloved daughter-in-law of Heeralal and Mochanee Moosaie, and sister-in-law of Pam, Vic, Monica, and Carolle. Cheryl will also be missed by her aunts and uncles, many nieces and nephews, her extended family and friends both here and abroad. The family of Cheryl Maharaj-Moosaie will receive friends at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa, ON (south side of Taunton Road, just east of Thornton Road)905-440-3595 on Thursday, April 3rd and Friday, April 4th from 5-9pm, and on Saturday April 5th from 11am-12:30pm. A Service to Celebrate Cheryl's Life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel on Saturday, April 5th at 12:30pm. Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brianna Moosaie Trust Fund (Transit No. 18332, Inst. No. 004, Acct. No. 6009239) Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
