Obituary of Giulio Manera

MANERA, Giulio (15 year employee of TTC)

Passed away peacefully comforted by the love of his family on September 24, 2021 at Toronto General Hospital.  Beloved husband of Angela.  Loving father of Giuseppe (Marisa) and Stefano (Lisa).  Cherished Nonno of Matteo and Caterina.  Dear brother of Marino (Norma), Gemma (Luciano), Maria Grazia (the late Oreste) and the late Marcello (Veronica).  Giulio was a proud and devoted family man, and he will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Monday, September 27^th from 4:00-8:00pm.  A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at Holy Family Parish, Whitby on Tuesday, September 28^th at 10:30am.  Entombment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.  In lieu of flowers, in memory of Giulio, donations may be made to Princess Margaret Hospital, Cancer Research.  Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
